Ivana & Komono
Burlesque isn't just lavish entertainment anymore.

Beneath layers of glitter and elegance, it holds a good dose of satire – and when needed, it stands up for the right cause. Ivana, performing as Ivinitty, knows this well. Burlesque enchanted her both in form and content. An attentive viewer won't miss that the dance is a way of female emancipation.
Ivana is visible on stage and off. Beyond regular shows with Bratislava Burlesque, she actively fights for women's rights and takes part in discussions about her profession and body positivity.
Since Ivana doesn't want to hide behind anything, she chose a bold cat-eye model from Komono at ZITA. Her favorite became the sun version – though that's no problem at all with us. We can turn any frame from sun to prescription and back again.
"Besides Bratislava Burlesque, I'm also part of House of Q, a performance family from Banská Bystrica. Together we push forward and create a safe space for creation and constructive criticism. The feeling of trust is the most beautiful thing about a family like this."
