Lucia found her calling on stage, where she relishes every opportunity to show audiences the power of theatrical art. After years of performing at Nova scéna, she feels at home there, though other theaters have grown close to her heart too. You might have spotted Lucia on stage in the musical Nuns, the operetta Die Fledermaus, or the comedy Influencers.
As a child, she loved reciting, singing, and dancing for her parents. In primary school, she took part in poetry and prose competitions, even trying her first acting role in a fairy tale about a gingerbread house – playing the witch, no less.

She sees her work as a hobby at the same time. She uses the stage to take audiences' minds elsewhere and entertain them. Applause from the crowd is her greatest reward. Preparing for a character is usually a lengthy process. It starts the moment she gets the script in her hands and continues right up to the meeting with the audience at the performance.
"My task is to 'become' that character, live through her, internalize her, and of course master the lines."

With so much acting experience under her belt, it probably won't surprise anyone that Lucia has reprised certain roles, like in Blood Brothers and Madam Pompadour. Besides theater, Lucia is kept busy with dubbing, where she lends her voice to world-class actresses and cartoon characters. Fans of the Harry Potter films will remember her deep voice from the fourth installment, where she embodied the French sorceress Olympe Maxime.

When Lucia has time off, she savors walks, exercise, and spa treatments in Piešťany. She can't praise the healing water and mud enough – for her, it's an invaluable gift.
Lucia was drawn to ZITA on Živnostenská from across the street at Divadlo Nova scéna. Our optician's is literally a stone's throw from the stage door. When choosing, she was fascinated by the unusual frame shapes that catch your eye at first glance.

In the final trying-on phase, two frames won out. The Fukushima model by Gamine Lucia uses for everyday wear. The burgundy Monokol frame she considers a piece of jewelry and saves for special occasions. Lucia also chose frames that would suit multifocal lenses. She adjusted more quickly to the burgundy glasses, but after a few days she could happily switch to the round model. Today she feels feminine, alluring, and unique in both.
"The staff's approach is incredibly attentive, so you feel like you're at home in your living room."
