Mercedes-Benz Fashion Live is a showcase for emerging talents and established Slovak design names. In collaboration with designer Mária Štvrtecká, we sent a selection of our most stylish frames down the catwalk.

In her collection, Mária reflected on the impermanence and fluidity of time, which came through in both the treatment and prints of her fabrics. We complemented the glossy, liquid-looking materials in pastel shades with timeless sunglasses and optical pieces from our shelves. Frames from Glare, Gamine, and Gaston walked the runway. For the sunnier outfits, we went with the ever-popular Kaleos. What do you think – does it work?

"In this collection, I work with the form of travel cloaks, which I see as a symbol of impermanence and journeying. At the same time, I draw inspiration from art and explore concepts like transformation, impermanence, movement, mirroring, liquidity, and fluidity – all reflected in the fabric patterns and material treatments."
