But at ZITA, beyond the eyewear itself, we also treasure the friendship we've built with the brand over the years. Come with us to Milan and meet the people behind Ross & Brown.

Their design draws from iconic trends that shaped the look of the 20th century. The colours, shapes, and even the name itself are no accident. Music legends Diana Ross and James Brown embody the wild, unbridled spirit of their era – serving as eternal inspiration for the designers.
Every model in the Ross & Brown portfolio evokes a city in a specific decade. At ZITA, we regularly travel through time and space. We alternate between beloved 1950s Paris, Casablanca, and Capri. When we're in the mood for bolder gestures and a touch of luxury, we slip into 1970s Dallas. Someone who wears Ross & Brown doesn't belong to just one city – they belong to the whole world.

Behind this brand that reaches far beyond Italy stands Mattia Cisari. His energetic nature and constant drive to explore led him to Shanghai – the cradle of fashion production – at the end of 2013. He came to eyewear purely by chance. Mattia has an advertising background and a nose for good design. Thanks also to strong relationships with suppliers, his brand is now successful across several continents.

"Our brand responds to the modern way of life, where people are constantly on the move. They don't belong to one city, they belong to the whole world. The people and places you meet while travelling offer incredible inspiration."

Ross & Brown stays true to itself. It doesn't hide its wearer – it elevates them. That's why its design is sparse on decoration. What matters is the material, shape, and function of the frame. The brand keeps innovating, and after nearly ten years, it hasn't fallen behind the trends.
We at ZITA are certainly curious which corner of the world it will take us to next! Browse their current collection here.
