Ross & Brown visits ZITA

We had a lovely surprise at the Pradiareň opening! Our long-time suppliers and friends Mattia and Alice came all the way from Milan to see the new shop.

Ross & Brown founder Mattia Cisari has taste not just for design, but for people too. He recently brought his long-time friend Alice into the team, where she now designs frames. Alice studied architecture, Mattia comes from the advertising world. Both share the same values – working in a family environment and building a community of friends.

Our friendship with Ross & Brown began in 2016 at the Silmo fair in Paris – back when we were just planning to open our first optician's in Bratislava. We clicked immediately. A year later, when the dream shop concept became reality, we met Mattia again and started our long-standing collaboration.

What do they think of our new shop? Mattia and Alice appreciated the modern minimalist space with its family atmosphere. They see ZITA as a brand with a unique identity that you feel the moment you walk in. During the opening evening, we talked a lot about our concept of the shop as a brand. According to Alice, you can clearly see where we are now and where we're heading.

"I hope you'll be an example for other companies too, and I don't just mean in the world of eyewear. The family approach is something you don't see often, and it should spread more. With you, it shows in everything you do every day and in the way you build your team."

Ross & Brown is hugely popular at ZITA for its timeless design and wearable frames that appeal to younger and older customers alike. But what we treasure most is the friendship we've been building over the years.
